I know I am so slow putting up posts about the updates in my house. Sorry, it is just so hard to paint, hold the camera for pictures and blog about it at the same time! So I will slowly be adding in our renovation stories as I find time. Here is a small improvement that Jeremy added just for me somewhat recently that I really enjoy!
Let’s see if you can guess!
The project involved some rope.
Some twine.
Some loppers to cut the freakishly thick rope.
And some wood.
Have you figured it out yet?
We used a tall ladder. Leaning against what seemed like a questionable branch and tree, although Jeremy assured me that it was fine. . .
Wait, lets add something in there so that we can reference that size.
Tall. And a bit wobbly. I did not go up.
We did some drilling.
Some knotting and some twine wrapping.
And voila!
My own personal sanctuary! A swing! With a wonderful view into beautiful branches of green leaves. My husband is so wonderful to think of these little touches that really mean a lot to me. I suppose that putting up a swing seems silly, but I will never grow up and will always love swings.
