Bad, Internet! Bad!
Yeah so apparently our site got hacked. Google listed it as a malicious site and there was code inserted into Jeremy’s files that would spread bad things to all our lovely visiters. Around April 2nd and again on April 18th, there was bad stuff happening to our lovely little home on the internet. Fortunately, our computers were not infected.
Please scan your computers well if you visited here or Jeremy’s main page on either of those days, but Google put up some warnings pretty fast so hopefully you were all kept safe. I really hope that this hasn’t caused any problems for you! Please let me know if you need help getting rid of any bugs caught from here and I will do my best to help you sort it out.
Jeremy and I have notified our hosting company about the problems, cleaned up the mess and taken some additional measures on our part to prevent this from happening again. Hopefully our hosting company will do the same. Weirdly enough, the Pioneer Woman was also hacked recently. Could this be related? Who knows. I do know that I did not get it from PW because none of my personal machines were infected, so my site caught the bug on the server end of things. Oh well its done and hopefully better and safer.
Between the hacking, and not having a computer or phone or internet at my new house yet, the posting has been falling behind. But when I get my computer up and running, I will have tons of awesome pictures to share with you all! Stay tuned for the complete saga of my new (40+ year old) house!
P.S. The picture is because non-illustrated posts are so boring. This is a photo I took at the Slowrider’s Slam 2008. Personally, I think that the photos Jeremy and I took are much better than the ones on the Slowrider’s site. I know that this photo breaks all the rules about how much tilt to add or not add, but I like breaking rules.

I was wondering why my screen went red and said, “NO….DON’T GO THERE!” Thanks for figuring it out. And I think we are safe. Glad you’re back online!
The shots over on the Slowriders website are mostly documentation of the event as I know Shane had his hands full simply doing that task, let alone being artistic with the shots. I’ve seen some really good shots by him in the past!
The shot that you included in the post is Jim’s ‘56 Beetle. To the right of the cooler you can see Dave of Peek Performance (red hat) talking with Rich, and they are standing near the back of Rich’s orange Thing. That shot is one of my favorites from the day!
